The Conference is the annual policy-making event for the 152 councils of NSW. The Conference is the pre-eminent event of the local government year where local councillors come together to share ideas and debate issues that shape the way we are governed.
 
The 2014 Conference will be supported by Coffs Harbour City Council at the C.ex Coffs (Coffs Ex-Services Club) from Sunday 19 - Tuesday 21 October 2014.

The Local Government Association of NSW and the Shires Association of NSW formed one association in 2013: Local Government NSW. This means that there will be only one annual conference held by the new association.
