The Women in Project Management (WIPM) group has opened its doors to male colleagues.

 
WIPM is a special interest group within the Australian Institute of Project Management.
 
It aims to provide a forum that encourages the recruitment, development and equity of women project managers.
 
WIPM teamed up with Women in Engineering (Engineers Australia) to present a lunch event, to be held this Friday in Adelaide.
 
Professional speaker and corporate trainer Sharon Ferrier will explain the how and why of networking, including how to promote yourself and how a wide network of personal and professional contacts is essential to obtain new clients, new projects, new business or a new job.
 
Organisers emphasise that men and non project managers are welcome to attend the WIPM event.
