Dr Richard Dammery has been reappointed as non-executive director of Australia Post for another three-year term.
First appointed to the board in September 2021, Dammery’s experience includes roles as the chief legal officer for Woolworths, general counsel at Coles Group and partner at multinational law firm Minter Ellison.
“Dr Dammery brings a wealth of experience in governance, legal and commercial expertise to Australia Post and I look forward to working with him and the rest of the board to support the organisation on its modernisation journey,” minister for communications Michelle Rowland said.
While congratulating Dammery on his reappointment to the Australia Post board, minister for finance Katy Gallagher said: “Dr Dammery’s extensive experience in corporate governance and large businesses will continue to support Australia Post in modernising its services to meet the evolving needs of all Australians.”
Dammery commenced his reappointment on 30 September.
